Fun Fair
Bring the whole family to this Saturday event held on MARCH 20, 10 - 2:00 p.m. Stay tuned for an auction booklet to be posted here soon.
This event is not to be missed! It is Forest Edge's single largest fundraising event of the year and fun for the whole family. Hope to see you and all the family there! Click here to peek at last year's Fun Fair guide and to print forms to volunteer.
The Fun Fair is a cross between a carnival and an international bazaar. There are games for the kids with small prizes, as well as a cake walk during which more than one hundred winners get to bring home a cake. Each class also contributes items to beautiful themed baskets which are raffled off.
To top things off, the day features a Silent Auction for products and services from local businesses, handmade gifts and gift baskets.
The Fun Fair and Auction are Forest Edge traditions. They bring our students, families and teachers together for a day of terrific activities.
Volunteer Opportunities
These events take a tremendous number of volunteers to organize them and ensure they run smoothly. Here are some of the ways you can help:
Fun Fair Organizers: Volunteers buy prizes, sell tickets, publicize and organize event held in March.
Fun Fair Room Parent/Grade Level Representative: Volunteers send out information and contact class parents to help on day of Fun Fair; solicit and prepare grade-level class baskets.
Fun Fair Volunteers: Work a two- to three-hour shift during the Fun Fair: sell tickets, treasures or food, run a game, distribute prizes.
