PTA Programs: Ways to Help!
Fundraising Programs
To underwrite the annual budget, the PTA conducts several fundraisers each year. We also look for creative ways to provide services to school families that also generate income. These programs include grocery store reimbursements, local restaurant dining night profit sharing, and more. Details of these programs are below.
Sally Foster gift and Wrapping Paper Drive. This early fall program is the first
of our major fundraisers. The school receives 50% of the sales totals and the
students earn prizes. After the initial drive, the school continues to receive rev-
enue from orders placed online. Click here to learn more or to order Sally Fos-
ter products online.
Fun Fair & Silent Auction Event. Forest Edge families can count on a terrific
day of family fun every March. During this big day, kids play games for prizes
and parents purchase raffle tickets or place silent auction bids for products
and services donated by local businesses. Click here for more details on this
annual fundraiser that’s a great family event.
Invest in Your Child Direct Contribution Program. Many families appreciate
the ability to support Forest Edge by making a lump-sum, tax-deductible contri-
bution through the Invest in Your Child (formerly Friends of Forest Edge) pro-
gram. The PTA welcomes contributions at any time during the year. To make a
contribution, print and complete this form, and return it to the school.
Dining for Dollar$. Each month, Forest Edge families are encouraged to dine at a local restaurant which has agreed to share a portion of that night’s proceeds with our school. Click here for details.
Market Day. This very popular service allows you to pre-order food which is delivered once a month to the school. Click here for details.
Reimbursements. You can help support Forest Edge simply by buying the groceries and office supplies you already need. Sign up for the store programs and get details of which product labels to clip and send in to the school by clicking here.
